Das Geheimnis der Drei Dschunken 
color, 1965, 84 min - Action, The Telex in the FBI is running hot. Latest message: "In Hong Kong an agent is found dead". A special agent and his partner from the CIA get in touch with Hong Kong. Action starts with smugglers of electric devices. The telex in the office of FBI San Francisco is running hot. - The latest message: in Hong Kong an agent was found dead again. Two days later special agent Jack Scott (Stewart Granger) and his partner Carol Eden (Rossana Schiaffio) from CIA get in touch with their contact person at Hong Kong. there they go separate ways, but they keep in contact my miniature receivers. Carol Eden succeeds in getting employed by Milot (Sieghardt Rupp), the owner of a sawmill, as an operator, and Scott works as undercover agent. Scott finds out very quickly that Milot smuggles electric nuclear remote control devices by junks. Unfortunately Carol's camouflage is discovered and therefore the stone begins to roll... Glocken der Heimat "Waldwinter"

Baron Malte beschliesst, mit der kleinen verbliebenen Gemeinde in die Sicherheit des Bayrischen Waldes, in sein Jagdschloss zu ziehen. Durch die verbrecherischen Manipulationen des Verwalters steht das Gut von Baron Malte kurz vor dem Ruin. Mit allen Mitteln versucht der Baron, die eigene und auch die Existenz der ihm anvertrauten Menschen zu retten. Die Dramatik der nun folgenden Ereignisse und die Schicksale der Menschen um Baron Malte, seine Pflegetochter Marianne, die lustige Wirtstochter Inge und nicht zuletzt sein Enkel Martin schlagen den Betrachter in ihren Bann. Goetz von Berlichingen (Ironhand) color, ca. 100 min., English subtitled - At one time, Goetz von Berlichingen and Adalbert von Weislingen were both pages of emperor Maximilian. As they grew up, they went their own ways. Goetz became a brave knight, beloved by the people, who helped the poor to their rights, whereas Weislingen became courtier of the bishop of Bamberg, who was at feud with Goetz whose allegiance was to the emperor only. As the bishop gives orders to arrest one of Goetz's squires and as Weislingen has him thrown into the dungeon, Goetz in turn abducts his former friend. At Jagsthausen, Weislingen falls in love with Marie, the sister of Goetz, and proposes to her. Shortly after that, Weislingen falls into the hands of the beautiful countess Adelheid, whom he soon marries instead of Marie, which places him at the bishops's side again.. 1942, b&w, ca. 90 in. - During World War 2 a German Air force officer falls in love with a celebrated revue singer in Berlin, but his military duties keep them apart. Though a musical, Zarah Leander's most-successful film is notable for its depiction the effects of war on civilians. Directed by Rolf Hansen; co-starring Viktor Staal. Discontinued. Out of print.

Die Geierwally 
b/w, 1940, ca. 99 min. - This often-praised drama, a farmer's daughter in the Tyrolian Alps befriends a vulture and defies her father when he Orders her to marry a man she does not love. With Heidemarie Hatheyer, Eduard Koeck, Sepp Rist, Winnnie Markus, Leopold Esterle, Georg Vogelsang, Hans Adalbert Schlettow, Ludwig Auer, Maria Hofen, Marta Salm, u.v.a. Wally hat sich mit ihrem Vater ueberworfen, weil sie nach seinem Willen einen ungeliebten Mann heiraten soll. Sie entflieht und fristet in einer Huette im Gebirge einsam ihr Dasein. Wallys Herz gehoert dem Jaeger Josef. Als sie leichtsinnigerweise einen jungen Geier aus dem Nest nimmt, wird sie von dem alten angegriffen. Bei dem Kampf mit dem Geier rettet sie der Jaeger. Seitdem nennt er sie spoettisch "Geierwally"... Discontinued. Out of print.

Die Goettliche Jette 
b/w, 1937, ca. 90 min. - The devine Jette sings and dances in turn of the century Berlin and is a smashing success. Perfectly played by Grethe Weiser, with Viktor de Kowa, Kurt Meisel.
Berlin um die Jahrhundertwende ist der Schauplatz der wirbelnden Ereignisse die Jette Schoenborn entfesselt. Sie ist nicht die historische Henriette Sontag, sondern Mitglied einer Familie von Vorstadtkomoedianten und spielt im Volkstheater ihrer Mutter in bayerischen Possen. Jette macht alles, weint, lacht, tanzt, singt, parodiert und - siegt. "Ich bin die Liesl von der Alp", "Ich bin ein kleiner Hirtenknab", Ach, Jettel", "Theater, Theater", "O, ich bin ein loser Falter", "Im Kusse der Berlinerin", "Einmal etwas werden", "Ich bin die Frau der 1000 Maenner".

Die Goldene Stadt 
color, 1942, ca. 100 min. - Veit Harlan directed this drama based on Austrian Richard Billinger's play Der Gigant (The Giant). In Czechoslovakia, a German farmer's daughter leaves her father to go to Prague, where she is seduced and deserted by her Czechoslovakian cousin. Many have praised this film's musical beauty. Featuring Kristina Soederbaum, Rudolf Prack and Paul Klinger. A classic! Discontinued. Out of print.

Godzilla gegen Megalon
Science Fiktion, ca. 79 min. - Die sagenumwobenen Kontinente Mu und Lemuria versanken vor Millionen von Jahren im Meer und existieren nun als Unterwasser Koenigreiche Seetopia weiter. Megalon wird auf die Erdoberflaeche geschickt um die Menschen zu vernichten. Nur Godzilla stellt sich ihm in den Weg.

Godzilla gegen King Kong
Science Fiction, ca. 83 min. - Der junge Architekt Keisuke entdeckt in einer Hoehle die Statue des Loewen King Shi-Saar, die er zu Professor Wagura bringt. Kurz darauf taucht Godzilla auf und versetzt Tokio in Angst und Schrecken. Gleichzeitig entsteigt ein riesiger, von affenaehnlichen Invasoren aus dem All gesteuerter, Roboter aus dem Meer. Dieser beginnt mit der Zerstoerung der Erde. Mittlerweile wurde die Inschrift der Statue entziffert. Keisuke bringt die Lowenstatue zum heiligen Schrein von Zaumi, wo durch einen Lichtstrahl der aufgehenden Sonne der Gigant Hing Shi-Saar aus einem Felsen entsteht. Das Urweltmonster greift sofort an.

Geheimzeichen LB 17 
b/w, 1938, ca. 94 min. - A counterintelligence agent in an Eastern European state thwarts a subversive group led by a Government traitor. Directed by Viktor Tourjansky; featuring Willy Birgel, Hilde Weissner, and Otto Wernicke.

Geliebte Hochstaplerin 
b/w, 1959, ca. 88 min. - Poor Martina has her heart set on catching a millionaire. A wonderful love story with Nadja Tiller, Walter Giller, Dietmar Schoenherr and Elke Sommer. See the stars, again, that you watched in the movies in the 50's and 60's. NICE!! Discontinued. Out of print.

Germanin 
b/w, 1943, ca. 96 min. - A German doctor in Africa discovers and proves the efficiency of a cure for sleeping sickness -- a serum called "Germanin"-- despite British harassment during and after World War 1. Directed by Max W. Kimmich; featuring Peter Petersen, Lotte Kich and Luis Trenker.

Der Gouverneur
1941, b&w, ca. 99 min. - A young lieutenant saves the governor of a Scandinavian land from an assassination attempt, and then discovers the governor's wife is his former fiancée. The film is based on the play Die Fahne (The Flag) by Otto Emmerich Groh. Directed by Viktor Tourjansky; featuring Brigitte Horney, Willy Birgel, and Hannelore Schroth. 

Gloria 
b/w, 1931, ca. 83 min. - Commercial pilots over the ocean and at home. Featuring Brigitte Helm and Gustav Froehlich.

Glueckskinder 
b/w, 1936, ca. 89 min. - Modeled closely on Frank Capra's 1934 film It Happened One Night, this musical comedy features Lilian Harvey and Willy Fritsch in one of their numerous film pairings. A reporter in New York impulsively marries a woman arrested for vagrancy, only to discover she may be the niece of an oil magnate. Directed by Paul Martin; co-starring Oskar Sima. Discontinued. Out of print.

b/w, 1934, ca. 104 min. - In this spectacular science-fiction film, a German scientist attempts to make gold from lead with an atomic reactor. His assistant is forced to combat a British industrialist who wants to use the same process to become ruler of the World. Directed by Karl Hartl; music by Hans-Otto Borgmann; featuring Hans Albers, Brigitte Helm, and Michael Bohnen.

Grosse Freiheit Nr. 7 
color, 1944, ca. 100 min. - In this poignant tale of Hamburg's Saint Pauli district, a former Seaman, now a singer in a sailor's nightclub, opposes his niece's love for a dockworker. This film enjoyed enormous postwar popularity in East and West Germany. Directed by Helmut Kaeutner; featuring Hans Albers, Ilse Werner and Hans Soenker.

color, 1975, ca. 90 min. - A funny and enchanting video with lots of songs, action and a spectacular ice skating show. With Marika Kilius, Hans Jurgen Baumler, Gunther Phillip, Uschi Glas, Theo Lingen, Toni Sailer and the Wiener Ice revue. Discontinued. Out of print.

b/w, 1942, ca. 116 min. - Frederick the Great was one of the most lavish and popular films of the Third Reich. Despite a devastating defeat at Kunersdorf, Frederick uses cunning diplomacy and brilliant military stategy to win the Seven Years' war. b/w, 1936, ca. 88 min. - In this musical set in Hungary, a lieutenant rides in a horse race to rescue a baroness he loves. This was one of Marika Roekk's first German films! Directed by Georg Jacoby; music by Franz Doelle; featuring Marika Roekk, Hans Stuewe, and Paul Kemp.

Hauptsache Gluecklich 
1941, ca. 92 min. - In this comedy, jealousy, money and a mother-in-law disrupt a bookkeeper's marriage. Directed by Theo Lingen; featuring Heinz Ruehmann, Hertha Feiler and Ida Wuest. Nice musical entertainment. In einem grossen Werk ist Axel ein kleiner Angestellter. Beruflicher Ehrgeiz widerstrebt ihm, das Glueck im Winkel ist seine Sehnsucht. Aber seine Frau Uschi wuenscht sich eine bessere Stellung fuer ihn. Mit Mogelei erschwindelt sie sich eine Einladung zu einer grossen Gesellschaft im Hause des Generaldirektors... Ein echter Ruehmann-Film mit Gegenpol Schwiegermutter. Fluessige und unterhaltsame Dialoge, huebsche Musik von Werner Bochmann.

Hallo Janine!
b/w, 1939, ca. 93 min. - In this musical comedy, a young showgirl in Paris overcomes a jealous rival and many misunderstandings to become a star and marry a count. Directed by Carl Boese, featuring Marika Roekk, Rudi Godden, and Johannes Heesters.

color, 1970, ca. 90 min. - See Arnold Schwarzenegger as Hercules in a far-fetched story. One of his earliest movies. Not exactly RAMBO style but thoroughly entertaining, especially for Schwarzenegger fans. Discontinued. Out of print. Collector Item, only one copy left.

Musical film, 1940, ca. 90 min. - Froehlichkeit und Melancholie wechseln einander ab. Rosita Serrano und Paul Hoerbiger singen. Ausserdem sind zu sehen Magda Schneider, Paul Klinger, Carola Hoehn.

Hilfe, ich liebe Zwillinge
ca. 88 min. - Roy Black, Georg Thomalla. Uschi Glas in a double role as a very shy and quiet teacher and a very outgoing model. Fun for the whole family. Discontinued. Out of print.

Himmel auf Erden 
b/w, 1935, ca. 85 min. - Paul Heller composes operettas, but his father-in-law, who owns the local Gasthaus must never find out. A wonderful funny movie with all the great comedy stars of the 30's and 40's, with Hans Moser, Heinz Ruehmann, Theo Lingen. Eine himmlisch alberne Klamotte mit dem Starquartett des deutschen Kintopps der Nazizeit. Selten erganzten sich Schauspieler in komischen Rollen so gut wie H. Ruehmann, H. Moser, Theo Lingen, A. b/w, 1939, ca. 90 min. - In Vienna on New Year's Eve, 1913, an Austrian official of Russian descent is unjustly accused of espionage, but he can exonerate himself if he reveals the truth about a Russian spy whom he loves. Directed by Erich Engel; featuring Willy Birgel, Sybille Schmitz, and Wolf Albach-Retty.

Hubertus Jagd 
color, ca. 93 min. - Starring Lucie Englisch and Willy Fritsch. A tale of horses and hunting and love and conflict. After an accident while on the last hunt, Monica's widowed father has lost interest in his horses and his estate and puts them up for sale. Beautiful and kindhearted Monica, however, tries desperately to comvince him to change his mind.
Nur schwer kann die huebsche und herzensgute Monika ihren verwitweten Vater davon abhalten, sein Gestuet mitsamt dem Schloss zu verkaufen. Er hat allen Spass an Pferden verloren, seit ihm die Unfaelle auf der letzten Hubertusjagd zur Last gelegt werden. Sie liebt die Pferde. Sie liebt auch Joerg, aber der macht ihr Kummer. Ausserdem ist sein Vater mit ihrem Vater verkracht. Erst durch den Unfall des kleinen Peter, der Monikas besonderer Schuetzling ist, kommen die beiden jungen Leute wieder zusammen. Auch die Vaeter vertragen sich wieder, und die Pferdezucht bleibt in der Familie.

Hunde, wollt ihr ewig leben 
b/w, drama, 1959, ca. 97 min. - The film from the bestseller book! Russlandfeldzug. Die 6. Armee ist hoffnungslos in Stalingrad eingekesselt und wartet verzweifelt auf den Ausbruchsbefehl. Vergebens. Mit dem angriff des weit ueberlegenen Feindes bricht ein hollisches Inferno ueber den Eingekesselten zusammen, Es ist das ausweglose Schicksal der Vernichtung einer ganzen Armee.
